When people ask an assistant "is X any good?", the answer often comes from reviews and community discussion, not your website.
Reviews
- Find which review platforms appear in answers for your category.
- Ask happy customers for reviews there, at the right moment, without incentives that break platform rules.
- Reply to negative reviews calmly and fix the underlying issue.
Forums and Reddit
Community threads are cited often because they read as honest. Do not astroturf: it is against most community rules, it is usually spotted and it backfires. Instead:
- Have named staff answer questions openly, saying who they work for.
- Help, even when the answer is not your product.
- Learn from what people complain about.
Fix the product, not just the perception
If the same complaint keeps appearing, no amount of content will hide it. Reputation in AI answers is a reflection of real experience. The Agency Blueprint covers this in Reputation and Community.
